HS2 has opened the bidding for Birmingham’s landmark Curzon Street station worth £570m. Rail procurement chiefs have chosen for a two-stage bid process for the primary time to position down the value of handing over the challenge. This is the second one time the big station venture has been positioned out to bid. Last 12 months HS2 canceled the previous bid race because of a lack of interest from contractors.
